Welcome to Hasty Elementary School. The information contained in this website with introduce our school and help you have a successful experience while attending Hasty. The faculty and staff take great pride in offering our children a quality education in a safe and caring environment where parents are an integral part of our program.

want to encourage you all to communicate frequently with your child’s classroom teacher in order to stay in touch with what’s going on in our school.  Please become involved with our Parent Teacher Organization and volunteer in your child’s classroom to help with some of the “behind the scenes” activities that support our teachers.  We welcome your involvement in your child’s educational experience and we look forward to working with you.

Due to end-of-the-year lunch schedule changes, we cannot allow

lunchtime visitors, beginning Monday, May 22.

Please remember that our students are physically active outside everyday and make sure your children are wearing appropriate shoes.

Recent News

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, 2nd grade Teacher Lisa Nichols, and Teacher Assistant of the Year, Misti Hunter (who works in 1st and 3rd grades and drives a bus when necessary).  They are wonderful examples of compassion and hard work in our school.

Legislative Updates
House Bill 539 is bad news for public schools and can be devastating for students. The bill forces local school districts to share program-specific funding with charter schools, even if charters don't offer the service.
